We all know that our health in influenced by all areas of our live. I'm going to be looking at live at home and the effect it can have on our mind and health.

In Western culture, while we may feel nostalgia or attachment to the places we’ve lived, we generally still see our living space as a separate entity from our inner selves. Perhaps this notion isn’t serving us very well, because many people feel so separated from their homes that they don’t enjoy spending time at home!

Your home should be a space to rest, recharge your body, mind, and spirit. More than that, your home is part of your identity. That’s why we spend time and money decorating the interiors, mowing our lawns, and picking out paint colors for our walls.

Our homes are extensions of who we are, and whether we realize it or not, our living space can affect our mood and well-being.

Whether your goal is to feel more comfortable and at ease in your own home, learn tips for decorating a new space, or are you’re just generally curious about energy-balancing interior design.

When you decorate and arrange your home, are there rules or guidelines that you consider?

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy that seeks to balance and harmony by orienting energy flow through space. Bringing this philosophy into your home can help you create a space that reflects a healthy mind, which can, in turn, influence matters of success, relationships, and general positive energy flow.

In a basic sense, the practice of feng shui strives to bring balance into the home by mimicking the patterns in nature and honoring the forces of the earth.

Do you ever walk into a room and immediately feel at home, even if it’s a space you’ve never been in before?

The philosophy of feng shui and energy-centered interior design was likely at play when that room came together!
